How to Save Instagram Live Videos After They End

Instagram Live is a powerful tool for creators to connect with their audience in real time. However, once the broadcast ends, the creator usually chooses to share it to their profile as a regular video (formerly IGTV). If you want to keep a copy of that live stream before it gets deleted, you need a downloader.

How to Download a Saved Live Broadcast

If the creator has chosen to share the Live video to their profile after the broadcast ended:

1. Navigate to their Instagram profile.
2. Click on the video in their feed (usually indicated by a play button icon).
3. Tap the three dots and select Copy Link.

Important Limitations

• Active Streams: You cannot download an Instagram Live while it is currently broadcasting. You must wait for it to end and be published to the profile.
