How to Save CapCut Templates Without Watermark

CapCut has become the absolute go-to editing app for short-form creators on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. One of its most powerful features is Templates, which allow you to plug your own photos and videos into pre-made edit layouts with matching music, filters, and transitions.

However, when you export a video edited using a CapCut template, the app automatically adds a CapCut watermark logo in the top-right corner. This can make your videos look unprofessional. Here is how to save and export your edits without the watermark.

The Official In-App Method

CapCut actually provides a built-in option to export template edits without a watermark, but it requires linking your TikTok account:

1. Complete Your Edit: Apply your photos/videos to the CapCut template.
2. Tap Export: Click the Export button in the top right.
3. Choose "Export without watermark": Select the red button that says "Export without watermark". This option usually redirects you to TikTok to share the video.
4. Save to Camera Roll: Once the video redirects to TikTok, you can save it directly from your drafts or edit screen, and the raw MP4 file saved to your phone will be free of the CapCut logo.

The Clean Web Downloader Method

If you do not want to connect your TikTok account or publish the edit, you can use a web tool:

1. Export with Watermark: Save the edited template video to your gallery (which includes the watermark).
2. Publish & Grab Link: If you publish it to TikTok (even as private), click share and select Copy Link.
